During our recent family vacation at Pondok Rahayu in Permuteran, we were pleasantly surprised by this hidden oasis. As a marine biologist and scuba instructor with a penchant for family-friendly environments, I appreciated the tranquil ambiance and meticulously maintained gardens. The hosts, Nila and Budi, were welcoming and eager to assist, creating a warm atmosphere that truly felt like home. Our spacious bungalow was clean, featuring a unique outdoor bathroom that added a delightful touch to our stay. The location is convenient, just a short walk from the beach, where my family enjoyed various water activities like snorkeling-a personal favorite that engaged our children. The ability to order from Nila's brother's restaurant enhanced our experience, allowing us to relish local flavors right from our accommodation. Although we could only stay one night due to travel plans, the inviting environment and family-oriented amenities left a lasting impression, making us wish for a longer visit.
